Henry Roth fell in love with Lucy Whitmore, who has no short-term memory due to an accident. Henry improvised situations so Lucy would notice her. He does this every day since Lucy forgets him the next day. Lucy eventually discovers that she has no short-term memory and knows what Henry keeps on doing to keep seeing her. To remember Henry, Lucy watches a video of herself and reads her diary. However, afraid that she would only be a burden to Henry, she decided to erase Henry from her diary entries to forget him. Even after erasing him, she still kept dreaming of him, and she drew him. When she saw Henry again, she knew that she was waiting for him.
They ended up together and had a daughter. Henry never got tired of reminding Lucy every day.
