Dumb and Dumber: Two best friends traveled to Aspen to return a briefcase, which turned out to be ransom money. They ended up spending the money and saving the man who got kidnapped- the husband of the woman they both fancy.

Dumb and Dumber To Harry & Lloyd reunite to look for Bethany, Harry’s daughter, since he needs a kidney transplant. When they found her, she didn’t turn out to be Harry’s daughter. But the truth is, Harry never really needed a kidney; it was only to get back at Lloyd for pretending to be sick for 20 years. This was revealed after Lloyd’s kidney was removed so he could donate it to Harry. They just laughed at it in the end and remained friends.
