Walter Sparrow reads a book his wife got for him and notices that most details are based on his life. He also started seeing the number 23 everywhere. The number led him to a story of a girl who died on her 23rd birthday, which turned out to be his own victim after a few discoveries. He killed the girl, wrote a novel that was supposed to be a Suicide note, then jumped but survived. He later recovered and started a new life without his memory: but someone ( the doctor ) published the novel, and after he read it, he turned himself in for murder.
