Lara Jean and Peter are officially together. John Ambrose (another guy who received a letter from Lara Jean) came along and caused conflict.
Another issue is Gen, Peter’s ex. Peter kept talking to her, and it was revealed that it was Gen who Peter was waiting on in the hot tub (and not Lara Jean, this happened in the first movie). After kissing John during a party, Lara Jean realizes he only loves Peter – and she got back with him and was able to clarify the issues in their relationship.
