Unspeakable by Abbie Rushton – Novel Summary
Megan stopped talking since her bestfriend Hana, died. She’s being bullied at school. Then a new girl came from Cyprus, and became friends with her. Her name’s Jasmine, and she does most of the talking. Megan later on fell in love with her and on her birthday where they both camped, they kissed. It was also the first time she has spoken.
She became mute because she thought it was her fault that Hana died. They had a fight because Hana wanted to hang out with Sadie. Luke and Megan messed with the rope of the swing that Hana rode on the night they dared her to ride it to prove that she’s worthy to hang out with them. Megan thought it was her fault. She was so guilty. However, it turns out that they were more to blame.
Luke messed up with the rope himself with a pen knife, worse than what Megan did because he was mad at Hana for choosing Owen. He expected Owen to ride next, not Hana. Also, Sadie and Owen moved the swing at the ridge.
It was Luke who sent death threats to Jasmine because he thinks she knew too much and she can see Megan falling for her. He likes Megan.
Sadie apologized and gave Megan Hana’s last letter that she took. Jasmine and Megan are officially together and they will be going to Cyprus for a vacation.
