A Day (Poem #71)

Yesterday we were lovers

today we are strangers

yesterday I got a kiss on my lips

today not even a peck on my cheeks

yesterday your hands were glued on my hips

now you’re anywhere but here

bumping fists

yesterday you were all I could find

today you’re nowhere to be seen

yesterday I was your queen

today you’re probably someone else’s king

❤️
