Another Liar (Poem #108)

I took a peek into your soul
through your eyes
I bore a hole

I fed you lies
and thought I had you wrapped around my fingertips
but man, you were wise

Turns out,
the reason you hang around
was because you knew
I was a liar you could easily outshine
it turns out that your lies
were actually bigger than mine
